I’m visiting Niagara Falls from out of province for the very first time, and I honestly can’t express how thankful I am for the incredible staff and doctors here.
This morning was terrifying. I’m new to wearing contact lenses, I got them just for this trip, and one of them got completely stuck in my eye. It was red, burning, and I could actually feel it stuck there. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it out. I was scared, frustrated, and starting to panic.
I called the clinic, and even though they were fully booked, they went out of their way to fit me in. The optician was so kind and calm, and when they finally got the lens out, they told me it had been stuck right on my eyeball. Turns out, the lenses I was given weren’t the right fit for my eyes, and it was only a matter of time before something like this happened.
I can’t even describe the relief I felt when it was over. My eye was sore, but I was so grateful it wasn’t worse. I’m definitely sad that I can’t wear my contacts for the rest of my vacation, but honestly, I’m just thankful to still be able to see clearly and enjoy this beautiful place.
To the amazing team who helped me, thank you for your kindness, your patience, and for quite literally saving my eye! :)

This was my first time visiting Spectacle Clinic and it was a wonderful experience. They were warm and welcoming from the minute I walked through the door. I saw Dr. Kim for my eye exam. She is attentive and explains everything in detail. I’m always confident that I am receiving the very best eye care. I then purchased a pair of prescription sun glasses and everyone was so nice helping me pick out a pair that was just right for me. They were kind and helpful and my experience overall was 10/10! I will be returning!

All the staff is incredibly courteous, friendly and helpful! I never felt pressured or rushed when trying on numerous pairs of glasses. I specifically had Norma helping me out, she gave great advice on what pairs did and didn’t look nice on my face. Thanks Norma!! Huge help!!

What an incredible experience I just had at Spectacle Clinic, Niagara Falls. I receieved top notch customer service from Norma and Catherine. They both guided me towards my very first pair of eyeglasses, and were both so patient with me - I literally tried on almost every pair they offer, and that's a lot! (They have an amazing selection!)

Ashley was a great help, I have been looking for Maui Jim prescription sunglasses for a while. Ashley showed me more pairs in any one place I have seen. I can’t say enough good things about Spectacle Clinic on Dorchester Road. I’ve had the chance to deal with almost every employee here, and every single one has been consistently professional, friendly, and approachable. They always take their time with you, never rush through appointments, and make sure all your questions are fully answered.
A special shout-out to Norma and Rachel for their kindness and patience, and also to Aryon, who made my experience even better. Their dedication and attention to detail really stand out.

The woman who did my intake and helped me pick out glasses was extremely down to earth, patient, and so helpful (and her coworker was just as lovely!). The lady who measured my pupils was also incredibly kind 💕.

I just visited this clinic for the first time and had a lovely experience. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly, and Dr. Chan was thorough—more so than other Optometrists I've been to. I have VSS and my symptoms overlap with Retinal Detachment. No to be dramatic, but I do fear not catching tears or holes because of my diagnosis. Thus I like to get my retinas checked regularly. Luckily, all is well and my eyes are healthy. But that good news isn't the reason why I am giving this place 5 stars.
I will definitely be going here for my yearly checkups from now on.

Dr. Diana Chan and staff provided absolutely exemplary service in accommodating and diagnosing this out-of-town patient on short notice with significant eye irritation. During examination, Dr. Chan identified PSC with both eyes and referred patient to Bochner Eye Institute for surgery back in my hometown. I was treated with the utmost care and attention. If in the Niagara region, I would certainly make Dr. Chan and her associates my ‘go to’ eye care professionals. Thank you Spectacle!

From start to finish, I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. They were very kind, and the store was clean/well-organized. Lots of variety of glasses and sunglasses to choose from. They saw me within one day of calling, did a very thorough eye exam. Doctor was pleasant, caring and informative. They helped me find the perfect frames for my face and even made it fun.
My glasses were ready less than 48hrs later. Couldn’t be happier and they’ve earned a lifetime customer.

My husband and I came to the Spectacle clinic to get him and his groomsman some sunglasses for our wedding day and let me tell you what an INCREDIBLE experience we had! The entire staff was super kind and helpful from the moment we walked in but they also went above and beyond as my husband needed a prescription on his sunglasses that we weren’t sure if we would receive on time and they offered us to use the ones he tried on if the glasses didn’t arrive for our big day!
